Author Guidelines
International Journal of Innovative Technology Integration in Education (IJITIE)
The International Journal of Innovative Technology Integration in Education (IJITIE) is the Association for Innovative Technology Integration in Education (AITIE) academic journal that aims to focus the attention of researchers, media specialists, and other related fields to the promotion of research and scholarship exercise on the integration of innovative technologies in every level of educational system across the world. It is also aimed at promoting effective practice and formulation of policies to spread the campaign for innovative technology integration in teaching and learning.

The journal welcomes an unpublished manuscript that promotes the advancement of innovative ways of integrating technologies in pre-secondary schools, secondary schools, higher institutions and other institutions of learning i.e. training and lifelong learning centres.
IJITIE considers original manuscripts from authors that present qualitative, quantitative or mixed-method approaches to research, theoretical position papers and critical reviews.
Manuscripts submitted for publication will go through a blind peer-review mechanism system and articles found to be relevant will be published in IJITIE issues.
Articles intended for submission for IJITIE are to be submitted online through the open journal system (OJS) at https://ijitie.aitie.org.ng/
Authors are requested to strictly follow the guidelines stipulated for the submission of articles.
Format
Submitted articles must contain the following information:
- Title Page title case
- Abstract - maximum of 250 words in italics
- Keywords - maximum of 5 keywords that identify the subject area of the paper
- Body of the Article: The body of the text is free. It is recommended that it has an introduction, methodology, results, discussion & conclusions, recommendations and references
Author information (surname and name written in full, position or academic affiliation, e-mail address, mobile number) may be included in the submission process but not in the document to guarantee a blind peer review process.
All the references quoted in the text should appear, and be put in alphabetic order, complying as closely as possible with the regulations of the American Psychological Association format, 6th edition. To quote online texts you must also follow the APA regulation.
Reviewing
All the authors will receive notification of receipt of the work.
Authors will receive the reviewer's comments concerning the final decision on the article submitted (it may be acceptable in present form/ It might be acceptable with minor revisions/It might be acceptable after a deep revision/It can't be accepted). Authors may check the evaluation process status at any time through the OJS platform.
Comments and the final decision of the review process will be sent to the author within 3weeks after receipt of the article.
If the paper is accepted, the author must attend to the reviewer's observations and send back the corrected paper within a period of 2weeks.
After a second review, the authors are requested to send an electronic file with the final version of the paper, attending to the Editor's formal requirements.
Publication
The editors of the journal reserve the right to publish the contributions in the issue which they consider most appropriate. Those articles which are not published because it is felt that they are not appropriate for the journal will be returned and the authors will be notified by e-mail.
