Abstract
This paper examines the teachers’ perceived relevance of ICTs on their entrepreneurial inclination and ability. Particular attentions were paid to the relevance of ICTs and the objectives of entrepreneurship education. Also, the status of Nigeria teachers and how to use ICTs for managing teachers’ empowerment were discussed. A survey method was used, with questionnaire as the dominant instrument. Data were collected from a simple sample of 145 primary and secondary teachers drawn from three local governments in Ilorin metropolis, Kwara state. The data collected were analysed qualitatively. Also, the general uses of ICTs and purposes of entrepreneurship education were extensively x-rayed and finally, this paper offers recommendations aimed at promoting ICTs as veritable tools in alleviating poverty among Nigeria youths.
